Intensive In-Home Services are mental health services that are designed to meet each child and family's unique needs through crisis management, intensive case management, counseling, family therapy, and skills training.


24/7 availability for crisis intervention

  • Family-based treatment that meets each family's unique set of needs.

  • Sessions with a QMHP in the home/community at times that are convenient for the family.

  • Anger management, communication, decision-making and social-skill training for the child.

  • Guidance for parents/caregivers on managing suicide risk, physical aggression, runaway behavior and other symptoms.

  • Collaboration with other resources and agencies during treatment, such as medical or clinical providers, schools and juvenile court.

  1. Have Medicaid through Optima

  2. Have a necessity for the service arising from mental, behavioral or emotional illness which results in significant functional impairments in major life activities.
